I saw 2012 the other day – hollywood trash, not unlike I expected. What annoys me though is when they have to spend so little effort and thought on it that you can’t even suspend your disbelief for the duration of the movie. I mean, all that havoc taking place, but radios and cellphones are fine right? You couldn’t get a call through for hours in NYC when the Two Towers fell.
But it was fun to watch, I guess. It was taxing though.

but see, you’re forgetting that this movie takes place in 2012… it’s in the FUTURE, and everything is already better!

hilarious. i won’t comment on how it disturbs me slightly that something people consume in greater quantities than water can power a cell phone…
